Within the software packaging area we specialized in products from Altiris, whose solutions within this range are better known under the label name WISE. WISE tools support the production of software installation routines. For the automated distribution of applications this must be prepared accordingly. Even if you package only few applications for a few dozens desktop systems, the preparation of applications for the deployment is important and brings advantages for organizations of any size. Wise Package Studio Standard is the preferential solution for elementary packaging and adjustment tasks. The standard edition offers a more reliable deployment and a faster supply of software. In addition processes and desktops are standardised. The investments in Windows 2000 and XP are fast amortized.
SVS
The Software Virtualization Solution (SVS) is a new approach of software management. With this procedure application and data are packed into administered units, so called Virtual Software Packages. With these Virtual Software Packages appropriate applications can be activated, deactivated or reset almost delay-free, whereby conflicts between applications are completely avoided. Likewise a clean uninstall of applications is possible. The basis Windows installation is not subject to changes by new software installations. Only the appropriate SVS environment must have been installed before.
